Pottery Wheel Classes
Art wheel Studio offers group lessons, private lessons, and pottery wheel workshops. Explore our calendar to register for existing classes. If you have a group or do not see what you are looking for on the calendar, please contact us about a private party.
Date Night
Date night pottery class for couples San Diego.Surprise your other half! Book a romantic evening behind the potter’s wheel for two. This 2-hour pottery wheel experience will bring you two together and teach you a new creative skill.
Private Events & Parties
We Offer Art Group Experiences For Any Occasion. Options for groups larger than 8 individuals include making sculpture or creating clay platters, plates, and other items at the table, fresco painting, tile painting, kite making, Chinese Gong Fu tea tastings, or other projects. For groups up to 8, options include those above or a wheel throwing experience.
Handbuilding
Our hand building pottery classes teach you to make ceramic projects without a pottery wheel. If you can roll out a slab of clay, you can make beautiful, functional pottery projects like cups, mugs, plates, bowls, baking dishes, vases, ceramic holiday decorations, and outdoor pottery projects. Handbuilding class also encompasses other projects based upon your interest, including tiles, base relief sculpture, ceramic sculpture and special projects.
Consulting and Firing
Artwheel Studios offers an extensive range of services for clay artists and anyone who needs expert input. Jeff is excellent at coaching students with their own creations. We have past students who sell and show their work. We offer firing services for pottery at low fire 04 & high fire cone 5/6 in our gas kiln. All pickups and drop offs are by appointment only.
