Firing Services

Artwheel Studios offers an extensive range of services for clay artists and anyone who needs expert input. We offer firing services for pottery at low fire 04 & high fire cone 5/6 in our gas kilns.
All pickups and drop offs by appointment only.

Firing Fees :
Pottery firing, one firing, per cu. ft: $50 minimum ($0.03 per cu. inch)
Sculpture firing, per cu. ft.: $55 – $65 minimum, depending on thickness

There’s no limit on number of pieces you may bring. Drop off times are by appointment only.. All firing prices do not include glaze or glazing. If you need to glaze your work at our place, please inquire about our firing membership. All firing minimum is one cubic foot, we prorate after that. Turnaround time – approximately two weeks per firing.

All work MUST be pre-paid and approved by Jeff to be fired.

We understand how precious your pottery pieces are to you, which is why you’ve entrusted us with them. We guarantee to treat your pieces with the utmost care as if they were our own. Unfortunately, there are no certainties in the art industry, and mistakes and flaws do occur at times. If something does goes wrong with your work, we will do everything we can to repair and fix the problem. By entrusting us with your outside work, you acknowledge that any flaws in your artwork, glaze, clay body, or other factors may occur, and you will not hold Art Wheel Studios responsible for them.
